Prayer for Relief from Acute Pain

Our God, You who created the heavens and the earth, I stand in awe of Your magnificent works.

The mountains, the oceans, the stars they all testify to Your greatness.

Help me to meditate on the beauty and wonder of Your creation, even as I face this pain.

Lord, You are my refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

I come before You now, seeking relief from this acute pain.

I know that You are the Great Physician and that nothing is impossible for You.

Jesus, You healed the sick and made the lame walk.

You calmed the storms and restored sight to the blind.

I ask for Your healing touch upon my body.

Bring comfort where there is discomfort.

Bring peace where there is turmoil.

Bring relief where there is pain.

Holy Spirit, fill me with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

Help me to focus on Your love and grace, even in the midst of my suffering.

Give me the strength to endure and the faith to trust in Your perfect plan.

Father, I thank You for hearing my prayer.

I trust in Your goodness and Your mercy.

Help me to rest in Your promises and to find solace in Your presence.

Amen.
