O glorious St. Joseph, chosen by God to be the guardian of the Holy Family, we come before you with humble and trusting hearts.

You who sheltered the Infant Jesus in your arms, who labored with faithful hands to provide for Mary and the Child, who stood watch through the night so that no harm would come to them look now upon our family and take us under your protection.

Guard our home as you guarded the home in Nazareth.

Let it be a place of peace, of prayer, and of love where Christ is known and welcomed, where voices are gentle and hearts are open, where forgiveness comes quickly and joy lives daily.

Protect us from every danger seen and unseen.

Shield us from division, from hardship, from the evil one who seeks to scatter what God has gathered together.

When trials press upon us and we feel our weakness, remind us that you too knew worry, uncertainty, and labor and that you trusted God in all of it.

Intercede for the fathers and mothers in our home, that they may lead with love and sacrifice, as you led the Holy Family not with words alone, but with the faithful witness of your life.

Watch over our children.

Keep them close to Jesus.

Let them grow, as He grew, in wisdom and in grace.

Bless our home, St. Joseph.

Consecrate every room, every meal, every ordinary day to the glory of God the Father.

Let the love of the Holy Family dwell here, and let our family one day dwell with them in Heaven.

St. Joseph, Patron of families, Protector of the Church, Terror of demons, Guardian of the Universal Church, pray for us.
