In your humility you made us recognize God as our only savior.

You made us understand that without God we would not exist and that without God we cannot live.

Your whole life has been marked by suffering. The Lord gave you the grace to participate as an exceptional witness in the mystery of His Son’s cross.

St. Padre Pio, you were obedient to the road which God has prepared for you and you simply agreed to follow it, step by step.

The joy you found only in Christ Jesus made you a beacon of light which illuminates the darkness.

St. Padre Pio you fought evil in prayer with humility, with obedience and with the cross, offering pain for love.

You have lived fully in divine grace, in the love of God and with the power of the Holy Spirit, you have been a great operator of wonders.

St. Padre Pio, who healed the wounds of the soul and body of the brothers who restored to you in the confessional, you also allow us to be healed from our sins.

For this reason, in prayer, I ask the Lord, through the intercession of Mary Most Holy and Padre Pio, for the fullness of a sincere faith.

You, son of the seraphic of the poor man of Assisi, you father of many souls regenerated to life, look with benevolence upon the spiritual and material needs in which we find ourselves and come to our aid.

We turn to you confidently and you help us benignly, O St Padre Pio, We trust in you and we are sure that you will intercede for us the graces we need for the health of the soul and body.
