St. Thérèse of Lisieux Daily Offering

St. Therese of Lisieux Daily Offering

Oh my God! I offer You all my actions of this day for the intentions and for the glory of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

I desire to sanctify every beat of my heart, my every thought, my simplest works, by uniting them to His infinite merits; and I wish to make reparation for my sins by casting them in the furnace of His merciful love.

Oh my God! I ask of You for myself and for those dear to me the grace to fulfill perfectly Your holy will, to accept for love of You the joys and sorrows of this passing life, so that we may one day be united together in Heaven for all eternity.

Amen.

About ten years ago, I read in a booklet, sent to me by my sister-in-law, about St. Therese of the Child Jesus. Among the many things St. Therese said in the booklet, the one that stuck on my mind is “I’ll let roses fall from heaven” if I remember it correctly. Few days after reading it while I was retrieving something I dropped in a floor, I saw a red petal of a rose. I froze, for I remember what St.Therese said that she’ll let roses fall from heaven. I looked upward searching as to where the petal could have came from. Above a bookshelf, I saw a bouquet of roses made of plastic. Somebody has put it there though there was none of it before. I looked for other petals on the floor but there was no other. I pick up the petal and thought that maybe St.Therese would like to affirm to me of what she said. That incident will always remain in my mind. When her relic was brought her in Manila, Philippines few years ago, I and my wife were among the many devotees who visited her. We love you St. Therese.
