A Prayer For a Joyful Attitude

Heavenly Father, I praise and thank you for teaching and lovingly correcting me.

I know that you only want what is best for me.

Thank you for always hearing me when I pray.

God, please forgive me for complaining and not demonstrating a joyful attitude. Please help me not to continue to do so.

I understand that when I complain to others, I am not standing in faith.

I realize that you want me to trust you in every situation.

I know that each rocky road makes me stronger because you work all things together for my good.

I know that you have my life in your hands, and I surrender my will to yours.

I trust your plans, for I know they are best.

Fill me with joy and let it overflow in Jesus’ name. I pray.
